Qualifications and Experience:
- Form IV leaving certificate with training in Peoples Militia Stage I or II plus at least five years working experience in a reputable organization
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To guard Institute properties at various places.
- To maintain peace and order
- To report any suspicious workers and visitors To check incoming and outgoing vehicles
- To check outgoing materials and equipment's
- To guard residential areas of executives and senior officers
- To issue gate pass
- To record in appropriate books all happenings and incidents of the day
- To monitor and adjust controls that regulates building systems such as air conditioning.
- To call police or fire departments in cases of emergency such as fire or pressure of unauthorized persons
- Warn persons who violate and apprehend or evict violators from premises using force when necessary
- To answer telephone calls, take messages, answer questions and provide information during non business hours or when switchboard is closed
- To perform any other related duties assigned.
