Key Function

• Implement the financial and accounting policy and procedures and if applicable make recommendation for necessary adjustments.

• formulates the future growth plans with the availability of finance and can apply leverage to the company finance by short term or long term plans

• identify and determine the finance resources and the best possible way to utilize the finances for the organizational objectives with the maximum rate of return of the finance resources utilized in the most effective and efficient way.

• Manage the company’s liquidity and control its risks.

• Ensure adequate refinancing of the Company

• Direct and control the activities related to the booking of the Company’s operation and the presentation of the financial information

• Report on regular basis to the CEO on the financial situation of the company

• Other tasks, which may from time to time be assigned by management


Qualification

• At least Bachelor Degree in Finance(or its equivalent) or Accounts

• At least 3 years experience in finance department of any company

• Good knowledge of the regulatory systems (Tax system)TRA and of BOT

• Excellent knowledge of international Accounting Standards (IAS) and local accounting standards as well as International Financial Reporting Standards(IFRS)

• Holder of CPA, ACCA, or equivalent

• Fluency in English and Kiswahili
