Qualifications and Experience:
Holder of a degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong bias in electronics from a recognized institution. At least five (5) years working experience in a reputable organization. Must be computer literate and registered with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB). Experience in the water sector is an added advantage.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that water is produced in the right quality and quantity to suffice the existing demand.
Ensuring that safety procedures are complied with in all operations related ( to water production.
Carrying out routine maintenance of electronic and electrical equipments and ensuring routine maintenance of mechanical equipment at the intake and the treatment plant.
Carrying out routine inspection of the intake, treatment plant and the main storage tank and taking appropriate measures.
Carrying out monitoring of water quality at the source, treatment plant and clear water tank and ensuring compliance with the prescribed standards for drinking water.
Preparing progress reports pertaining to water production activities
