Accountant

Jumia is expanding its activities in Tanzania. To support our development we are currently looking for outstanding candidates interested in entrepreneurship and e-commerce to join us. Position - Accountant

JD will include:
· Reconciling collections from sales
· Payments processing - non trade payments & payments to suppliers
· Bank reconciliations
· Payroll processing
· Statutory filings
· Reporting / recording transactions on accounting system
· Processing customer refunds
· Other support as required.

Experience
· 3 years’ experience in an accounting function of a medium sized company
· Local accounting qualification (already obtained, not in the process of obtaining)
· Good excel skills
· Experience with using different accounting systems
